We leave it up to the patient whether or not they would like to chat or relax during their session, however the practitioner will use their professional judgement as to whether or not the discussion falls within their scope of practice. We understand that talking has therapeutic benefits such as trust building, nervous system regulation, mood stabilization, & stress reduction.
